Job Opp: Phx Electrical Contractor - Hybrid Purchasing & PM Roles

Spoke with a local electrical contractor last week. He is looking for a DEWSC alum that is interested in a hybrid position that incorporates Purchasing and Project management.

Some of the responsibilities:
•Purchasing daily materials and expediting them to the job site
•Purchase orders – negotiating, buying, and tracking
•Project management of changes orders – developing, logging, interaction with GC, and some estimating,
•Management of project reports
•Project scheduling oversight
•Working with distributors, vendors, subcontractors, and manufacturer reps
•Coordination with estimators for project success
•Warehouse management
•Vehicle management
•Tool/equipment management
This is just a brushstroke at this juncture. This is a multi-tasked position. Never the same dull repetitive position.
