V.P. Construction Division. Reporting directly to the President of the Company, and working in Williston, ND, the VP-Construction is accountable for managing the operation of the Company’s multi-state Construction Division, in concert with the Company’s strategic business plan. Responsibilities include, attainment of safety, revenue, growth and profit goals and full client satisfaction with the quality, handling and timeliness of all projects. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or similar discipline; 7+ years progressively responsible experience in the management of highway/bridge projects ranging from $50,000 to $15,000,000 in size; a thorough understanding of bid-build project management principles, project planning & scheduling, cost accounting administration and contract administration best practices; a demonstrated ability to manage teams’; the ability to travel as necessary in a multi-state area; excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Primavera, and MS Office. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in the management of multi-state, heavy/civil operations.
Equipment Manager: Reporting directly to the V.P. of Operations, and working in Bozeman, MT, the Equipment Manager is accountable for procurement and maintenance of the Company’s fleet which consists of heavy earthmoving equipment, aggregate crushing and processing plants, transport equipment, vehicles and small tools. Responsibilities include management of fleet composition in concert with the Company’s business plan; management of equipment repair and service staff and facilities; management of preventative maintenance programs; administration of equipment cost accounting record keeping; and, administration of the Company’s Safety Program within the Equipment Department. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in heavy equipment management, and excellent organization and communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in heavy equipment management for large, multi-state, heavy/civil contractors.
Project Manager (PM): Reporting to the Williston Regional Manager, and working in Williston, North Dakota, Project Manager are responsible from startup to completion for the management of assigned projects involving oil field and related civil construction. Responsibilities will include client communications, job planning & scheduling, resource employment coordination, budgeting, contract and subcontract administration, safety assurance, work progress assessment/reporting, and billing. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 2+ years’ experience as a project manager, excellent written/oral communication skills, and a clean driving record. Preference will be given to candidates with oil field and earthwork experience.
Risk Management/HR Director: Reporting to the Vice President of Administration, and working in Bozeman, MT, the RM/HR Director is responsible for the management of the company’s risk management and human resource departments. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the administration of a construction company’s safety, insurance, and HR programs. Preference will be given to candidates with MSHA/OSHA compliant program management experience in the highway construction or aggregate production industry.
